Dear Supporters and Well-Wishers,

I am humbled and delighted to share the journey of Jagorani Mohila Kallyan Sangstha in empowering women and contributing to positive change in our society. As the Executive Director, it has been my privilege to be a part of this transformative journey and play a pivotal role in fostering the mission and vision that our organization possesses.

Over the years, Jagorani has been steadfast in its commitment to empowering underprivileged women across Bangladesh. Our unwavering dedication to this cause has allowed us to make significant progress and touch the lives of countless women in diverse communities.

Through our various programs, we have strived to address the multifaceted challenges faced by women, from economic vulnerabilities to social barriers. Our initiatives, such as the Vulnerable Group Development (VGD) program, Sewing Training, Microcredit Program, and support for lactating mothers, have been designed with a deep understanding of the unique needs of the women we serve.

One of the key aspects of our success lies in our approach to community engagement. We firmly believe in inclusivity and the power of collective decision-making. By actively involving the women in our programs, we empower them to take charge of their lives, make informed choices, and drive change within their communities.

As the Executive Director, my expertise in women’s issues and community development has played a crucial role in shaping the design and implementation of our programs. By leveraging my background in Bachelor of Arts, I have been able to advocate for policies that promote gender equality and create an enabling environment for women’s empowerment.

I am immensely proud to witness the impact of our efforts on the lives of women. Seeing them break barriers, gain financial independence, and emerge as leaders within their communities reaffirms the significance of our mission.

However, none of this would have been possible without the continuous support and collaboration of our donors, partners, and dedicated team members. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for standing by us in our pursuit of empowering women and fostering positive change.

As we look to the future, we are committed to expanding our reach and empowering even more women in Bangladesh. Together, let us continue to pave the way for a more equitable and inclusive society where every woman can flourish and realize her full potential.

Thank you for being an integral part of this extraordinary journey of empowerment.

With gratitude and warm regards,

I am honored to share with you the remarkable journey of our organization in empowering underprivileged women across Bangladesh. At Jagorani, we are driven by a vision to create a society where women are strong, independent, and have the resources to shape their own destinies. Our commitment aligns seamlessly with the Bangladesh government’s mission of empowering women and fostering gender equality.

Our operations are built on the foundation of dedication, compassion, and inclusivity. Through various initiatives and programs, we strive to uplift the lives of women in the most vulnerable communities.

One of our major initiatives, one of the significant features that has enabled Jagorani Mohila Kallyan Sangstha to change the lives of over 50,000+ women for the better is our Microcredit Program.

We understand that access to financial resources is a critical factor in empowering women and fostering economic independence. Through our Microcredit Program, we provide women with the means to start and expand their own small businesses, thereby creating opportunities for them to support themselves and their families.

The program operates on the principles of inclusivity and sustainability. We offer tailored financial solutions to women from diverse backgrounds, including those in remote and underserved areas. Our approach is rooted in community engagement, and we work closely with the women to understand their needs and aspirations, ensuring that our microcredit services align with their entrepreneurial endeavors.

By providing access to microcredit, we have witnessed remarkable transformations in the lives of these women. They have been able to break free from the cycle of poverty, achieve financial stability, and contribute positively to their communities. The ripple effect of their empowerment reaches far beyond individual lives, inspiring others and fostering a spirit of resilience and self-reliance.

However, programs like the Vulnerable Group Development (VGD) initiative, provides essential support to economically disadvantaged women, offering them opportunities to enhance their skills and generate sustainable livelihoods. We also focus on lactating mothers, recognizing the critical role they play in nurturing future generations. By providing support and resources to these mothers, we ensure the well-being of both the mother and child.

Skills development is crucial for women to gain economic independence. Our Sewing Training program equips women with valuable vocational skills, enabling them to explore entrepreneurial ventures and secure a brighter future for themselves and their families. Additionally, we provide training on sheep rearing and distribute free sheep to women, empowering them with an alternative income source and fostering self-reliance.

During times of crisis, we extend relief efforts to affected communities, ensuring that the most vulnerable are not left behind. Our organization also offers financial aid to physically challenged women, recognizing the importance of inclusivity and providing equal opportunities for all.

Collaboration lies at the heart of our success. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners, donors, and supporters who believe in our vision and contribute to making a lasting impact. Organizations like BRAC, APHD HONGKONG, SAP-BD, PKSF Bangladesh, WFP, Bureau of Non-Formal Education, VERC Bangladesh, Caritas, Cebemo Netherlands, ADAB, Bangladesh NGO Beauro, Women Affairs Department, and the Ministry of Health have been instrumental in supporting our endeavors.

Together, we are making a difference in the lives of countless women, inspiring hope and driving positive change. As we move forward, we remain committed to our mission, fueling the flames of empowerment and creating a brighter and more inclusive future for the women of Bangladesh.

Thank you for joining us on this incredible journey. Together, we can achieve even greater heights in empowering women and building a better society for all.

With warm regards,
